Openside builds Baseout — backup, restore, and data intelligence for Airtable. Protecting customer data is foundational to how we operate.

Our security practices include:

Encryption of sensitive data at rest (AES-256-GCM) and in transit (TLS)
Passwordless authentication and least-privilege, role-based access with periodic reviews
A documented incident-response and breach-notification process
Vendor and subprocessor due diligence, with data-processing agreements where personal data is handled
Automated dependency and vulnerability monitoring across our codebase
A fully remote operating model with production infrastructure hosted on independently audited providers (Cloudflare, Digital Ocean)
